Last the weekend the CHCA held its Annual Outdoor Meeting in North Star Ct. This was a great opportunity to meet and get to know some of the neighbors. Nineteen residents attended the meeting, and enjoyed friendly conversation and refreshments. The dates for the fall yard sale was finalized. Other topics of discussion included a review of the Spring Easter Hunt with suggestions for making it better next year, Diley Road safety concerns, and collections of annual dues (due by October 1st).

Everyone is well of aware of how difficult it is to turn left onto Diley road, and the safety concerns caused by the increasing amount of traffic on Diley. The CHCA has brought this up to the city of Pickerington before, and will continue to be a voice until a solution is put into place. Our CHCA President, David Sarmir is inviting the city engineer to an on-site meeting here in the neighborhood so we can show the city just how difficult the situation with Diley Rd is becoming.

Our annual dues are due on October 1st. The CHCA will be sending people house to house to collect the dues, but would greatly appreciate it if everyone would go ahead and send in your dues without having to be asked. Please send your $25 payment, payable to Cherry Hill Civic Association, to CHCA, P.O. Box 932, Pickerington, OH 43147. Also, please include your e-mail address with your payment. We are now sending out newsletters to e-mail address.

Finally, the next quarterly meeting for the CHCA will be held in September at the Pickerington Library on Opportunity way. Date and time are TBD. Watch the events page of this website for updates. The page will be updated when the date and time have been determined.
